This was a photo shoot I did a couple of weeks ago. I had a lot of fun walking around down town Sanford with them. The kids were so great and the parents were not so bad either(lol).I hope they enjoy the pictures. I have lots of good ones to show them soon.

I love this one. I think it is one of my favorite's from the day. The look on the dad's face is priceless. I think that is what made the shot.

This brave couple did not let the cold weather of last Sunday (it was a high of like 40), which I have to say was FREEZING,stop their session. She was a trooper though it, her coming out in a summer dress and all.

These two were a lot of fun, the chemitsy between them was so easy to catch. They made my job so easy. Thank you guys for that. You are going to make my job in March so much easier. Hope you guys enjoy these photos. The rest will be done soon.

This great mommy is about to have her 5th baby. I can't believe it. My hat goes off to her. I have to say I love my clients. I had so much with this great couple. We had a lot of fun hanging out and taking their pictures. They were so layed back and easy going that I was able to get a lot of good shots to work with. I hope they enjoy their sneak peek. You two are a great couple and you will make great parents.

Pet Cancer Awarness Festival

First off again shame on me for not blogging in awhile. Again been busy. But anyways to the point of these cute pictures. I did a volunteer booth taking pictures of dogs(and people if they wanted) with Santa Claus at the Cancer Awareness day festival. I just couldn't help but put these pictures up of Miss Thing. The second dog in the group of photos. There were so many types of dogs, but the best part was there weren't that any pure breeds( not that that is a bad thing I have one.) I was just nice to see so many people with mutts.

Sorry I am behind again. It feels like that no matter how hard I am trying I can't get the things that I want to share up fast enough. SO sorry, I am really trying to get the stuff up. I have some photos to share and some personal photos and events for the family. So bear with me their coming. Home schooling has now found it's rythme and now I can get back to blogging the things that need to be done.

Birthday Balloons

Thank you Aunt Brittany the balloons were a HUGE hit with all three. (3 hours and still going in the playing department…) They loved the surprise. I differently thank you get the best aunt award right now. I can say I never would have thought of it, and I will explain how she won the right as best aunt right now.

Their Aunt Brittany stopped by this morning on her way to work and filled up Christian’s room with balloons. They were all over the floor. So when Christian woke up he was so excited he started throwing the balloons and having a good ole time. And they haven’t stopped yet. So these pictures are for their aunt Brittany. We just wanted to show you how much he really did like the balloons. It is amazing the things can stay occupied for hours with.

Happy Birthday

OK today is a happy and sad day for me. It’s a very happy day because it’s Christian’s birthday, but my baby is turning three today. It’s sad because my baby is not a baby anymore. (I know he hasn’t been a baby for a little while now.) But I still am amazed at what he has done and how much he has grown. He is very special along with my other two boys. They all are my world. Ok enough with me mushy. Happy Birthday Christian I love you.

Growing up too fast

OK I can’t believe that it has been six year’s since Connor was born. It feel’s just like yesterday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that’s what all us mom’s say when we start looking back at our kids. But it is true. I am willing to bet if you cornered some of these big old macho men they would tell you they feel the same way. These feelings always come bubbling up the surface when they start making big boy decisions. You mom’s out there know the one’s I am talking about.

For example Connor has been toying with cutting his hair off for spikes.While the last time he went to get his hair cut he asked to do it. Well his aunt heard this and was not happy about it. So the promise of a box of legos and many of our girl friends begging him not too, he didn’t do it. But those legos were only good for one time around… So yesterday sitting in the barber shop I took my big girl pill and watched my baby( yes I know he is six and that’s not a baby anymore, but he is always my baby boy)became a boy. So now I have two with spikes. Don’t tell them but they kinda look alike if you look quick.

So I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a photo shoot. I will post those soon. So here is a before and after of my baby boy Connor, the many sides of Connor to follow soon.

I love it when the little things finally come into place. You will notice that a couple of blogs back the pictures got bigger.(FINALLY) I have been fighting this one for two months or more. And I have now figured it out I think. (At least so far I have) So everybody cross those fingers for me that this continues to works.

Well I know it’s been a while, sorry for that. But I have been busy with baseball tournaments and the boys. I know that summer has started because life seems to be in fast forward again…. All you mom’s out there know what I am talking about. But I will start blogging more often I promise. Even if they are just pictures of my kids that I post. So you know they will be of cute kids..lol ( I am biased though but what mom isn’t :) )

Well I went to a friend’s house yesterday to shoot their new bundle of joy Zeke. This great family was a joy to shoot. All the kids were great. They all wanted to have their picture taken, and the baby was very easy going. This made my job easy. The handsome young man named Eli (in the white shirt) was my little shadow. He was the one who wanted his picture taken the most. Hence the great shots of him. I loved the smile. That smile says, “It’s great being a kid!” So enjoy the sneak peek of your shoot.

Cowboy

Well I am going to be the proud parent today. Erik has always wanted to take horse bask riding lessons since he was able to walk. We also go to the state Fair in Tampa every year and it’s always the same, sitting there for several hours with his grandparents and us watching the horse competitions. Wondering if he can someday make it out there to do the same. Doing the events, owning his horse, traveling to shows, etc…. Well now he is on his way to part of that. (Don’t have the money for the horse). After doing some work on the internet I finally found a place I could afford. He has been in the lessons for three weeks with Mrs. Cindy at Daytona Equestrian Center. He is learning to post, to steer, (use the reins) and to be safe around the horses. (This is the big thing for me!) So here are some of the pictures I was finally able to take this week. Thanks to my sister in-law keeping my younger boys. Sorry if the quality isn’t the best but this was on Tuesday when the whole big down pour was taking place in Daytona. We were just lucky to get the lesson in before the worst of it took place. Enjoy. I know Erik did.

My little Ball Player

I mentioned earlier about starting to practice and toy around with sports photography, so here are a few more pictures. This is my oldest son Erik. This was the first year he did Rookie ball (it’s the league division he is in) this game was during his playoff game, and I might add the hottest day so far this summer. Unfortunately they lost, but they did end the season with some good things. They beat the first place team giving them their second win and finishing the season with everyone on the team being able to hit off the machine. This is big since at the start of the season we had no coach and 8 new rookie players (they all just moved up from t-ball, my child included). So I hope you enjoy and Way to go Reds. I would also like to say thank you to coach Chad for stepping up, Erik loved you to death. Keep up the good work.

Well like everything so far this week these photos are a little late in being posted. These are from the Sanford Little League T-ball Banquet on May 1 of this month. This is a little project I am working on, taking sports pictures for tournaments, leagues, etc... I am always around some kind of sport so I decided to shoot some of it. Hey everybody. Like I promised last night I am now getting to the first set of pictures that are way over do to be posted. These good looking people are John and Michelle. I was asked to take some pictures of this great couple. They have been married for ten years now and have never had pictures of themselves together. So I could not turn this chance down. They were great through the whole thing too. The chemistry between the two of them was so oblivious. You can see it in every shot they did. Meet the cute little button named Liam and the wonderful people who claim this bundle of joy, Jeremy and Brittany. I have been looking forward to this shoot since I found out Brittany was pregnant. And I’m so glad to say I was not disappointed. We got some great shoots. It proves that even with the poor baby is not feeling totally happy you can still get good shots you will love. I am looking forward to getting back together to shoot more pictures of this cute little button. Here are a few pictures to give them an idea of the shoot’s we got that day. Meet the Mighty Mo; she has to be when you’re surrounded by boys all the time. This beautiful little girl is my niece Morgan. We got together to go and have some fun taking pictures down on the River walk. It let me do something I don’t usually get to do. I’ll give you a clue I have three boys, and I dressed her. That’s right I got to play dress up and hang out with girls. Even the dog is a girl… We just had girl time no boys allowed. Mo was so fun to shoot. I can’t wait to get together and do it again. I just wanted to say congratulations to Shiloh on her new beautiful baby girl, Julianne Rene, she was born April 4 at 10am. I can't wait to meet that beautiful baby and take some pictures to show her off to everyone. You have helped me so much with getting my start. I can't thank you enough. SO thank you again.

I did it. I beat the system (so to speak... lol). All I had to do was kind of think like a kid (the easiest solution). Like before when I said it's those moments when you say duh..... That was all I had to do. This is great because I have now figured out how to put my pictures UNDER the texts, so now it makes since when you see you see the pictures. You know what it was about and why I have them on the page. It only took me a month to figure this out. But at least I can say I figured it out. So I choose this picture of my sister and her horse to test this to see if I did it right. Plus I really like this photo. My sister is very beautiful and I love shooting her she makes my job easy and effortless.

Well I am very excited. I have learned how to do something I never thought I would learn. I really can't tell you guys out there in cyber land how many times I have tried to put more then one picture on a page to create something and it never worked. And now thanks to a great friend of mine who showed me a very simple thing. (the type of things that makes you want to go duh..., or that's all I had to do.)Which is what normally happens. I have now figured out how to do it,and I have to say for myself I think it looks pretty good for my first try.

I DID IT!!!!! It is not perfect yet (can't get my pictures where I want them on the page) But I finally got it to at least start working for me. You know it's like one of those days ( should say more like serveral weeks ;) where no matter what you do nothing works. Or you get one problem down then a new one or two pop up. I guess that is what I get when I ask God to work with me to help me with my patience. He sends me lots of things to practice with. lol I guess he believes in the whole saying of "practice makes perfect " So those of you who looking at this now Thank you and I am still trying to work this whole thing out. So thanks for the patience with dealing with the blog. Like I said before this whole business and blog thing is all new.

Learning

To those who know me no I am not good with writing. (Brain is going faster then I can write and spell check is my best friend lol...) But I am learning. I am learning how to use this site and how to get my thoughts down on paper.(the web in this case) This whole adventure is new for me and I can't wait to see where I end up. I have already tried many new things. From different ideas,techniques, to new programs. It has already been a great start. I thank those of you who have been with me and encouraging me since the beginning. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have taking them.
